Alyssa Paduano is the Director of Food Service Operations for Lakeport Market along with being one of the owners with her family. Alyssa started her career as an intern with Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes at the age of 14. Her job duties included a wide range of responsibilities from filing to marketing. After graduating high school, she started working at Wegmans in their pizza shop while attending Onondaga Community College. Throughout her years at Wegmans, she was promoted all the way up to a department coordinator. After six years at Wegmans, she moved onto managing a local café. The café helped Alyssa learn how to run a successful operation and she fine-tuned many of her skills during this time.
In 2018, Alyssa and her family created the company known as Lakeport Market, an independent convenience store chain. After two years of operating the single location successfully, the family decided to take over another location on the other side of the town of Chittenango. With two locations the market has been able to service the whole community and has become a one stop shop for many.
Alyssa and her fiancée, Heather, along with their golden retriever, spend much of their time outside on adventures. When they’re not hiking outdoors, they enjoy baking and watching movies with friends and family.
