Kole Olinger is the Director of Merchandising for ExtraMile Convenience Stores, LLC based out of Pleasanton, CA. Kole is responsible for developing and executing merchandising and marketing plans to support ExtraMile’s business objectives. Kole oversees a growing team of over 20 employees proving category management, merchandising & marketing, space planning, and data analytics and insights support to the organization. Kole is also a member of the EMCS leadership team and began working at ExtraMile in July of 2020.
Most recent to joining ExtraMile, Kole spent 4+ years working for Jacksons Food Stores out of Boise, ID. During his time at Jacksons Kole serviced a variety of roles including time as a Category Manager (Center of Store and then Tobacco) and District Manager in Salt Lake City, UT and then Portland, OR.
Prior to Jacksons Kole worked as a Category Manager for Bodybuilding.com, a leader in the ecommerce space for Sports Nutrition supplements. Kole managed multiple categories within the vitamin, mineral, & supplement categories as well as overseeing international catalogue expansion.
Kole attended Willamette University and obtained an undergraduate degree in Economics as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette. Kole also played football while attending Willamette, located in Salem, OR.
